Hi everyone,

I've been using my TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wireless Adapter on my computer to gain wifi access on my computer. And since my router signal is too far for my phone, i'm using its SoftAP Mode to feed wifi for my android phone.

The case is, after a few hours connecting, sometimes my phone got disconnected from it and can't connect back to the Wireless Adapter because it's stuck Obtaining IP Address. Anyone has any solution for this?

Use the latest drivers for the wireless adapter. On another note, you will need to reboot the smart phone as in my case, the issue is with the smartphone and not your wireless adapter. Which version is the wireless adapter? You should be able to find the right drivers for the corresponding version off of TP-Link's support site.

I have the latest driver already. I would connect for a few hours but then my phone would get disconnected and got stuck obtaining ip address from the wireless adapter
