So I just updated my android a couple days ago and ever since my music files, images, and everything else on my sd card just erased itself and i can usually try and crack the code behind my problems but im absolutely stumped here. So I looked as hard into this as possible as far as going to download some sdk files to edit through the phones properties in order to make the sd card writable. Now just today I go to plug my phone in and I look at my SD card and now its giving me this CRAZY text and telling me i used up 256tb? The SD Card is a Sandisk 16Gb and it's definitely real I have had it working fine till this point. My phone is an N9130 yes not the top of the line but it works great. How can I get my SD Card working again?

Hey there, Max.

Have you tried connecting the card to your computer directly via a memory card reader? If not, you could go ahead and give it a try. Having in mind it got erased, I assume you're only trying to make the card work again and you're not after data recovery, but please correct me if I'm wrong. So while you have it connected to your computer, try reformatting it to see if that fixes things up. You could also try using a formatting tool, to see if it helps (most SD card and flash drive manufacturer's offer such tools for their devices).

If nothing seems to help, it's possible for the SD card to have failed.

Hope that helps.
