Hello
2 weeks ago I bought my first Android tablet from a chinese firm (Android 4.4.2, Allwinner A33, quad core, 32Gb).
It was great.... running super fast, wifi connection strong, HD streaming etc. It did everything I wanted of it.
BUT then... last week (1 October 2014) it started up ran for 30 seconds, then re-booted... and started and re-booted...... again and again....and again until I eventually turned it off. I googled the problem and found some references to "reboot loop", however mine was different, because my tablet would properly start up and actually work for 30 seconds ( I could use it for 30 seconds... before it restarted)
I assumed I had installed some app that had upset it, so I uninstalled all the apps and did a factory reset on the whole thing..... It started up after the reset and ran for 5 minutes... then rebooted, started for 30 seconds and rebooted again and again...same problem...ugh.
I contacted the seller who told me to undertake the usual power supply checks, reset etc.... still the tablet was rebooting again, again and again. So I presumed that there must be a fault and asked for a replacement tablet. After 4 days waiting (7 October 2014) the seller sent me the following email:
"Hello,
Thank you for your reply and sorry to get back to you a bit late. we consulted your matter with the supplier, after the techniccian check it carefully and come into conclusion that it is for the server of this type of tablet is upgrading and they have completed the procedure now. may I know that if you can have a try to see if the matter is still the same? Thank you so much and hope to hear from you soon
"
The tablet is now working again, 24 hours and no reboots..... WTF??
PLEASE can someone here explain to me what the problem was? Is the tablet now fixed? Is this going to happen again? Was there some update problem with the operating system? How can I avoid this happening again? .....Please.... help.... thanks in advance.
