Can't seem to figure out my tablet, when I go to power it on nothing happens or it will display an empty battery with a yellowish orange triangle with an exclamation mark at the bottom of the battery. After the empty batter comes up, it either shuts off or it will show an empty battery changing for 7-10sec than die. Once in a while I am able to get android to load but the battery reads 0-1% charged, so I leave to charge and when I come back it only last about a min on a full charge.

Does it have a removable battery? If it does, try a new one. Also try a different charger and cable.

If it does not have a removable battery, it may be possible to get a tool set and battery anyway for it, but you will need to crack open the case.

I never heard of an RCA tablet and new they are $70 on Amazon so I would not expect much quality from the battery or anything else on it.

The battery is soldered fast to the circuit board but I have would have no problem removing the old battery and soldering on a new one. I wan't to make sure it's the battery and not something else before I spend money on a new one.

At this point battery is the most likely but of course it could be something else. For $70 for a new one though, I'd probaly just replace it unless te battery is cheap and you know how to do the work to replace it. If the battery was over $10 I'd probably not bother. $20 is not much but if it's not the battery but someting in the circuits, you are now at $90 for a replacement cost instead of 70.

I contacted RCA and they agreed repair or replace it at no charge, I just haft to pay return shipping.
