android tv box freezing

hi I got a android tv box. how to stop it from freezing and or speed it up? I have a app on it to watch videos but it keeps freezing a lot.

Freezing could come for many reasons:
- overheating
- corrupted firmware
- old firmware or slow hardware
- just time to get new one

Have you tried resetting your box to factory defaults?

I'm having the same problem with my Android box. Just did a factory reset, but it's still freezing 1-2 times daily. It's on a fan too. Any ideas?
It's a X10 audibel. Last firmware update was in December 2018.
