Hey everyone,

I am going to school for animation and game design and am building a new computer for it. I am not super techy but I feel that I have built a decent machine. I was just hoping to get some feed back and suggestions. I don't want to break the 1000 dollar range. Thanks for all the help.

Here are my specs:
-RAIDMAX Raptor ATX-823BR Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower
-ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77
-SAPPHIRE 100364L Radeon R9 270x 2GB
-CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W
-Intel Core i7-3770 Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.9GHz Turbo)
-G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400
-Seagate Barracuda ST2000M001 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache

Its all on a public wishlist on newegg called "Animation PC" but they haven't updated yet so you still can't see it on the list.

Not the build I'd choose. Here is mine.

Upgraded video card *slightly*
Really weird memory choice you had.
Added the Operating system (surprisingly how many people forget about that) and the Optical drive to install it with).

This will outperform yours,It's only above $1,000 because I added an OS and an optical drive.

Updated. :)

Thanks a lot for your input. I didn't include an OS because I already have an OEM for windows 7 ultimate and the optical drive from my last build. I was kinda sketched out on the memory that I chose so I'm glad that I was right about being wrong on that.

Again thanks a ton for the input this computer has to run maya and other high end software like a champ. Have a great day! :)
