Anker Mouse won't scroll- drivers do nothing

Hi all,
I recently built a computer and migrated to it. After installing all of the drivers from the CD's, I went to the ianker.com to pick up the drivers for my mouse. The drivers didn't even recognize my mouse. I got an error message in garbled English about making sure it was plugged in, even though it's the only thing in any of my USB ports. Yes, I tried plugging it in different ports. I plugged in a few other mice, and none of the scroll wheels worked on any of those. In the mouse's Properties, it says it's a Microsoft PS/2 mouse (even though it's USB, but that probably doesn't matter too much). Any ideas on what I should do?

No, I did a clean install of Windows and used Windows Easy Transfer to put my other files on the new box.
