Annihilator 2 Problem

I just bought a creative annihilator and it give me so many problem such as freezing up my computer. I am using Asus K7V motherboard 128Mb 133Mhz Ram Athlon 800 Mhz. I already try to reinstall Win98SE and update the driver but it still give me the problem. HELP!~~~

Have you tried the VIA 4-in-1 Drivers at http://www.via.com.tw/drivers/index.htm

You might want to try Windows 2000. True it won't run all windows 98 programs, but it's amost impossible to crash.

u can try to flash ur mobo BIOS, install the via 4 in 1 driver, run ur AGP at 2x with fastwrites off ..... also try to check out www.geforcefaq.com , it has a lot of info.

I had a similar problem when trying to set up a 600 Mhz Duron w/ FIC AZ11 mobo. Could not get it to be stable. I don't blame AMD. I think that it is pot luck getting Nvidia boards to work with VIA chipsets. Maybe things have changed since then, but I would rather have stability than speed. I dropped back to the Intel platform.
