Unfortunately if it is a Raptor 150, then that is considered a very high end spin drive ( I use one myself they are very nice), and I cannot enter you for the drawing, double check to make sure it is, or is not, a Raptor drive and let me know. Thanks.

Well from the way he talks it seems like he may not know better (maybe his cousin built the computer for him?) So I think we can forgive him if he doesn't know about the l33tness of a Raptor :D

Hey man, that’s awesome that you’re giving away some of your old parts! It’s also really cool to see another Christian gamer on here!
I absolutely love computers; just got into the whole PC gaming thing a couple years ago. My brothers and I bought a custom-built computer second hand, and have upgraded the power supply and graphics card. The hard drive that came with it, though, is really not working for our needs. It is an old 160GB Seagate drive; split into 3 partitions by the guy I bought the computer from. It is a daily struggle trying to make enough space to fit another game on. I am constantly finding out that I’m almost out of space, and I keep having to uninstall programs to fit another game that I want to install in it. Having an SSD drive, even just a 30GB one, would help considerably to fix my space issue. I would be able to move some files over, and have more room to install games, not to mention the crazy fast speeds that an SSD would give me! With an extra drive in my computer, I might even opt for buying and installing Windows 7 (I’m still back on XP) so I can run some newer DX10 and 11 games.
Receiving the SSD drive would be an awesome fix for my computer, giving me faster speeds and giving me the extra space I need to breathe.
Look forward to seeing you around the forums!

Frank

Whoah, dude, I just looked at your system specs. That’s a crazy high-end system!

I would like to enter for the RAM. My personal rig died on me a few months ago, and I am stuck using my wife's P4 class HP. Being that she has three children ages 11, 10, 3 and I am a recent victim of corporate downsizing, money is very tight around here, especially at Christmas. The job market here in Louisiana is very bad to say the least. The ram would be a wonderful start on building myself a new budget pc. Anyways, enough of the sob stories, lol. This is very generous of you. I wish you all a Merry Christmas.

Sound Card!

We use speakers.

My on board card is having quite a few issues and this would really help out as my wife and I use my computer as our main form of entertainment and without sound, we have been frustrated! (My wife say's, "Ohh! Tell him how much I would love him if I could watch House again!")

I would actually like the RAM for a friend. I'm helping a friend of mine build his first PC, and RAM has tripled in price over the past year. Thus, the project has basically ground to a halt because of budget issues. It would be awesome to give him a kit of RAM for Christmas, it would defnitely make his day!

On another note, the fact that you would do this is awesome. To be able to help others out in this economy is amazing. It would be great if more people would do this with their spare parts. I'd be tempted, but I don't think anyone would want an old Athlon XP 2500+ CPU at this point :)

Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

Hello there, I would like to enter for the $20 or less game. I have been dying to get Counter Strike Source, yeah I know super old, but haven't had the cash to get it because I've been helping my family financially so I've been constantly broke. It's actually one of my favorite games yet I don't own it -.- I'm a huge Valve fan and love all their games. My three favorite games of all time are:

1. Super Mario World
2. Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo
3. Counter Strike Source

Annisman, thank you very much for this contest. It's nice to see people giving as opposed to gauging.

I'd like to enter for the steam game!

I would like Buy Far Cry® 2: Fortune's Edition! It looks fantastic!

My three favorite games are:

1) Orange Box (yes, I know, it's technically more than one game, but I cannot decide between HL-2 and Portal)

2) Bioshock

3) Halo 1 (It got me started on first person shooters and the gaming world)

I enjoy FPS mostly, but I also enjoy a good puzzle game (like portal). And, as a traceur, I cannot help but enjoy freerunning in mirrors edge (and some in Assassins Creed too)

For the sound card:
I use onboard sound with a new system I constructed. Primarily playing modern warfare 2 with the new rig (finished a week ago)

I watch quite a bit of movies/tvshows i download, but also the rare/occasional retail netflix dvds. I am putting off getting a nice set of speakers because I dont have 5.1 card, so I currently use usb headphones i am not too happy with because if i move the cable too much they disconnect and reconnect losing the connection to the application i was using.

My old system I am selling to a friend for $100. I was having problems the last month with it where it would lock my computer up if I was copying anything larger then 500mb to a flash drive. (part of why i bought a new system). Ended up being a stick of 1gb ram

I'm definitely interested in a Steam game. :)

Mass Effect is a game I've put off for a while because my old rig couldn't handle it, but I'm getting a new, beefy rig for Christmas.

My favorite games are:

1) World of Warcraft
2) Team Fortress 2
3) Fallout 3

I have stated it before (in my first giveaway) and I will state it again: I will assume that everybody is telling the truth regardless of any kind of 'proof' that can be lauded against a person, or anything like that, even if somebody is lying I do not want to start a big witch hunt. I assume most of us are adults, or can at least act like adults when needed.

With that being said, I will pick winners in about 2 hours, so get your entry in if you haven't. Winners will be announced near the top of the thread on pg. 1.

CSS may be super old, but it is by far my favorite online fps of all time. I think I have put in at least 400 hours of CSS over the last few years. And I only play Office = P

I hear ya ;) , im just pointing that out because it would suck to givaway harware to someone that does not need it (might re-sell it on e-bay...lol)....
