In collaboration with Frank Bergson, FSGenesis is now offering NuRoads
2.0 Re-Paver for Download in the FSGenesis Store.
MS Flight Simulator 2004 displays very little variety in the
appearance of roads, highways, railways and streams.
NuRoads Re-Paver enhances the appearance of your scenery by replacing
the original road and highway surfaces with an assortment of pavement
effects: light concrete, dark asphalt, colored road markings, a
variety of static vehicles, and seasonal variations such as winter
snow drifts.
The new night textures have realistic pavement brightness looking
great at night, dawn and dusk. The different road types have
individual night light colors, representing common type of overhead
Illumination and headlights.
Streams are wider during the spring, narrower in the summer and freeze
over in the winter in snow bound areas.
NuRoads Re-Paver does not add new roads, but Re-Paves the roads you
use. It does not require additional add-ons.
NuRoads Re-Paver works for all users of Flight Simulator wherever in
the FS world you fly! Custom textures are installed for the original
roads, ?American Data Roads?, ?USA Roads?, ?Roads and Railways of
Germany? and most road mapping software. The corresponding texture is
automatically displayed! Since the new and replacement textures are
exactly the same size and format as those they replace, there should
be no change in frame rate or performance.
