Annoying blank frame when loading articles

I use Chrome for my browser and recently over the past month or so, when I open a new page from an article on this site, a blank frame open up on the left side of the screen. The blank space covers up some of the article. The frame closes after 5 seconds or so but it happens every time I go to the next page of the article. I is adding time to the length of each news post and thus eating up a lot of my time. Any ideas why this started happening, and how to fix it?

In the past month or so, we added infinite news as a feature, which automatically loads the next article at the bottom of the page you are reading. Is there anything custom or particular about your browser that could be interfering or altering this feature from working? Do you have any extensions or security measures in place beyond the standard set that might be bumping into this and causing the frame you refer to to appear?
