Annoying FPS drops & stutter. Help Needed

Hi,

I have powerful rig
i7 4790
GTX 1070FE
16 GB DDR3
LG 29uc88 @60hz 2560x1080

I can run any game at ultra settings with no issue with vsync enabled @60FPS.

My issue is sometimes i encounter minimal FPS drops, frames dropping for few seconds which causing annoying screen stutter, when playing competitive FPS game is frustrating.

When i disable vsync or use riva tuner to limit FPS i get screen tearing.

I tried to limit frams to 59 but didnt work, tried to overclock the screen tob75 and limit frams ro 70 and keeping inside game setting to 2560x1080@60 and didnt work, changing it to 2560x1080@75 cause lag and screen appear sluggish.

If i cant solve this ill sell the card and get rx580 on the cost of performance which i dont prefer.

Any suggestions?

Use adaptive v-sync setting. It turns on v-sync only, when fps is more than refresh rate.
