I have an OCZ Eclipse double laser mouse, have been using it for about 10 days and it's been working great so far. I actually have this mouse and my old Microsoft Intellipoint optical mouse connected to my PC at the same time. I'm ambidexterous and use each mouse for specific situations because of my wrist problems. (Eclipse on the right hand for gaming and image design, optical mouse on the left hand for pretty much everything else).

Everything's been great until today just a few moments ago. I was working on GIMP, when suddenly it became awkward when I moved the mouse to the right. What's happening now is that, the cursor is sort of forcing itself to the left.

If I leave the mouse untouched, the cursor doesn't move. But if I move the mouse to the right, it stops unless I move it really fast, feeling like the cursor is trying to push a heavy object forward. On contrast, when I move the mouse to the left, it sometimes jumps faster than normal to the left, so sometimes I'm taking a considerable amount of seconds to cilck any small button.

I've rebooted my pc, attempted to disconnect and reconnect the mouse, changed dpi and profile settings, and tried the mouse on my laptop. The problem still persists. I have no idea what's going on and I'm going completely insane. Could someone please shed some light on me? It is imperative that I get this working properly.

Okay, I just messed with a bit of paper on the mouse lens to see if it was the problem and I can tell the problem is there. Can anyone give me any tips on how to clean the lens? All I have here is camera lens cleaning stuff, like a cloth and microfiber tissues.
