Annoying POE bug

Playing POE last night, and there was an annoying bug which was causing
play problems.....

The tanks in the base, would spawn, then take damage for about 20
seconds then explode! I never managed to get a freshly spawned tank
with less than 25% damage. I looked around for enemy action, but
couldn't see anything - they just seemed to spawn in then degrade, then
explode....

Also in POE, is there a sweet spot to hit a tank (besides the rear)?
In a head-on tank battle when both tanks are trading shots, I often get
killed in 2 shots, whereas the opposition takes 5 or so. This is the
same regardelss of what model of tank I'm in!

It's one of the standard ones, I can't remember its name, the one with
the single long bridge.....

Is this your map? Or someone else made it.

Some maps have bugs in them (Operation Bragg has exploding vehicles, as well
as the A-10 on Oil Fields).

If it's your map, try making the spawn point a few feet (game feet) off the
ground. I see spauns often have the vehicle drop a short distance... you
can even hear the "clunk" with helicopters.

If it's not your map, then you are out of luck.

I just wanted to say as far as attacking tanks, I know the angle of
incident makes a pretty big difference. I think in the calculation for
damage it takes some damage off if you are hitting them at anything but
perpendicular, kind of like it might hit and then bounce off at any
other angle.

So when attacking try to be hitting them square. And usually the rear
is the weakest, but the sides are weak as well. Might also want to try
aiming for the turret. I haven't played POE enough to know for sure.

OK, I didn't realise that hitting them square on, or the turret would
make much difference. Now the trick is to find out how to see through
the fog and hit targets I can't see yet, like some tankers seem to be
able to do....... 😉

what about the turret tank animated icon at the bottom of the screen,
reversed motion........

another bug is the AH64 elevators in DC, they seem reversed when you
look at them in third person view.
