Hi guys, I have a new build with windows 10 installed and I'm having a very strange and annoying issue..
Very randomly, I encounter split-second freezes (longest freeze on record is 1-2 seconds), and even more randomly, my sound starts putting out this crackling noise when watching videos or hearing music, please note that the sound issue does not occur with 'every' freeze but its also random...
I can't seem to figure out what the issue might be, there doesn't seem to be a pattern, sometimes I go hours without noticing a freeze and other times I get freezes every few seconds , driving me insane in the process. At first I thought it was just the mouse pointer that was randomly freezing and lagging however I noticed that when the freezes occur it affects everything, for example, if a freeze occurs while I'm typing, it keeps inputting the last key I pressed until the freezing/lag halts. It's very frustrating.
So far I've re-installed windows, updated drivers, removed third-party software, played around with the device manager, but nothing seems to be helping. I hope you can find me a solution for this very annoying problem, my system is as follows:
Razer Naga Mouse
Logitech G11 keyboard
MSI X99A Gaming pro carbon
i7-6800K processor @ 3.6 Ghz
G. Skill Ripjaws 32 GB CL 16 @ 2400 Mhz
Creative sound blaster Zx
Samsung SSD 850 Evo
WD Black desktop 5TB
EVGA 850W P2 PSU
Gigabyte nVidia GTX 770 Windforce (with the EVGA 1080 FTW still on the way)
