As the thread title says, I want to anodize my Noctua NH-D15S aluminum red, but I'm unsure if there is any copper and if it would be safe, and I also don't want to impair the heat capacity and conductivity of the heatsink by too much.

Are there any questions I should be asking my local anodizing shop so that the copper and aluminum remain undamaged? Is there any way to prevent anodization to copper if it's melded with aluminum?

Solution
Anodizing requires heat.
I would not try, fearing that the heat might destroy some of the solder joints in the cooler.
