[citation][nom]jabliese[/nom]So, nobody at Sega bothered to play A:CM before giving the OK to release?[/citation]Kind of late in the game to shop around for a new dev, isn't it? Gearbox already managed to get a delay out of them. I mean it's easy to say in hindsight that "Sega shoulda done knowed better hurr derr hurr" but this was Gearbox's project, and I'm positive they made promises and showed progress, etc. Basically they were very good at stalling, and then rushed the game out and it was just too late by then to do anything but get it ready and launch it, disappointing or not.
Any more delays were unacceptable, especially after they realized the extent to which they'd been duped. Heck, they were probably looking at DNF thinking "Gee, if we delay it again, is it really going to help anything? They'll probably just go back to outsourcing and work on Borderlands 3."
