Another 2x4gb set or new 2x8gb set.

Currently using 2x4gb corsair vengeance. If I plan to upgrade to 16gb, should i just get another 2x4gb set or a 2x8gb will be more bang of buck?

In my opinion it would make sense to get another pair of matching sticks if you can.

I second this. Make sure its the exact same set as the other one and keep in mind that you need at least 4 ram slots.

Depends what the mobo is and what it supports. If it only supports 16 GB max, then you'll have to get 2x4 sticks
