Another CM storm trooper fan controller mystery

All leds work, mic and headphone jack works, fan controller leds are light up to the max and wont go down, reset and power works, all ports are working, buttons are not stuck. Everything is connected except 1 2x black wire that is coming from front panel fan, fan leds wont turn off also. Is it possible that it is faulty fan controller?

Are you sure you followed through with this video guide while connecting your fan controller to the PSU and components? There are other threads with a similar issue whereby here's one.

If the above doesn't avert your issue then it might be a good idea if the case is yet under warranty you may want to see if a replacement part or case has the same issue.
