Hi guys

I know this is maybe the 1000th thread about Corsair h100i but I've done a lot of googling but I could not find my answer.

I've made a build with: I7 4770K, ASUS MAXIMUS HERO VI and Corsair h100i + W8.1 64BIT
My previous Corsair was faulty I think, no pump led, fans not turning and no leds burning, only one led was flickering a little bit.

So I RMA my Corsair h100i and received a new one without questions. I installed everything and first I got nothing at all. Went into the registry like most of you did and after reboot BAM! my LED sprung up, I can see my pump in the LINK software (even though my CPU temperature is falling away in the LINK software sometimes..)

But still my FANS are not turning at all, not even at the boot. But they give a very bright LED now, so I'm pretty sure they've got power. I've tried to go into bios to disable Q-fan control, didn't help.
I don't know if this will be important but I don't use the stock fans but got some coolermasters that normally work well.

My pump is connected to CPU-header with a 3pin female think. I'm using a Y-cable that's included for the fans and they're connected to the pump. I've tried to connect the Pump to the CPU-opt and one of the fans to CPU-header, but not even a reaction of my fans...

As my fans are not turning my radiator gets very hot. Without doing anything my CPU is hitting 45-50°C.

Can someone help me with getting my fans turning? I think this would be the most important step to get my corsair working, asuming the pump LED is on, it'll pump hot water around..

Thanks! I hope there's someone who had the same problem that can help me

Try reinstalling the stock fans and see if still the same.

I'm sorry I haven't told that. Yes, I've connected the cable that comes out of the pump connected to the SATA connector and the other side (3pin) as told to the cpu header (4pin)

Alex, Thanks man! Apparantly my 2 coolermaster fans are broken..
Could you tell me where to plug my stock fans? Would I control my fans myself or does the pump run my fans faster if my CPU gets hotter?

I was thinking to connect my pump to the CPU OPT and the 2 stock fans to the CPU header to control it.

What do you think?

No problem.
Connect the 2 stock fans to the cooling unit and the pump 3 pin sensor to the CPU_Fan.
Use Corsair Link V2 software for controlling the fans.
The "problem" is that the board can not control the pump, since 3 pin to 4 pin header (voltage vs PWM), so the pump will always run at full speed.

It all worked out now, everything is fine. Need to test temperature while gaming average I'm about 25!
I noticed that one of the fans is turning faster as the other while they're both in default mode. Is this normal?

One is 903 while the other is 845

I would try plugging the cooler master fans in a fan port on the mobo to see if they are truly dead. As far as I remember the list of compatible fans are short for the Corsair Link/H100i. The fans might just not work with the Corsair Link/H100i but work normally.
