Another dead motherboard? Close to giving up.

This is the 3rd motherboard I have put into my system, and is the 2nd to not boot at all.

The GPU works fine (Tested in another computer), as well as the PSU. Not sure about the CPU but it's not like I have another considering it's a £250+ i7. I don't have a speaker or other sets of DDR3 RAM, so can't troubleshoot it properly.

Every motherboard I've tried turns on, the hard drive ticks for a while, and then no display is shown, and stays like that until turned off.

I'm honestly stumped.

I'd suggest going out to like radioshack or a local pc store and buying a cheap case speaker. Super helpful with issues like this.

Idk if radioshacks are even around anymore tho, there's not a single one where I live anymore

You could try Amazon or something, you should be able to find one that just plugs into the fan socket, I think.

Found my spare speaker and the thing didn't even beep once.

Ugh.

Try taking the ram out, and the board should beep more then once. If it doesn't sorry to say but I think the board has died.

..Or the speaker might be broken.

Sorry, bought I doubt 2 brand new motherboards both have 'died' when they're untouched.

Especially when they're 2 completely different brands, MSI and Asus.

2 boards both being the same I'd keab towards the ram being St fault have you tried with only 1 stick in a slot

Of course I have.

Just found a i3-550 and even that refuses to work.
