Another good card for Crossfire

I have a xfx Radeon 4870 1gb and i want to do crossfire should i do another 4870 or do another of the 4800 series.

Why do crossfire when you can sell the 4870 and get a 5870.
-Less power used
-Roughly 90-95% the performance of 4870 crossfire
-Single card (you can crossfire that later)
-DX11

CFing his 4870 is the cheapest and fastest way to improved his performance but of course at the cost of more power. besides in some places 5870 still hard to get.

Yes renz it is cheaper, but in the coming years DX11 games will become standard and with X-fire 4870 he will miss all the fun . IMHO when DX major versions are released the cards that become the more viable solution are the ones that support that version.

i was only saying it was cheap.
ideally if you really want dx11 stuff then you have no choice but to get any ATi 5000 series out there. the only thing he will gain by CFing his 4870 is performance increase 😀
