APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: ASAP really up to a few weeks

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Very multi task, the main purpose is to run dual display for GFX/Web design, also little gaming and media watching.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: ATI ASUS EAH5850 1GB

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: Asus Sabertooth X58, Core i7 950 3.06GHz Socket 1366, Corsair 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz XMS3, C300 SSD, ZM850-HP Plus (850w), case is fractal r2, cooling I have H70 on my CPU and fans are a mix of factual and Noctua NF-P14.

PARTS PREFERENCES: Nope I'm not a brand whore so what ever is best bang for buck

OVERCLOCKING: No

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050 and 1920x1080 for now but will both be 1920x1080 soon

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: My current card is great and runs everything I want it to its just very short on connectivity need a card with two DVI ports on it.

Budget sorry, is up to £200 but I'm a firm believer in best bang for buck for the most expensive isn't always the best for me.

What do you think out of these two or would you look at other cards?

Yeah, you stated that you're buying from the UK, forgot about that.
If i had to choose between these two defenitely the XFX. Still, a 560TI is better.

Wow, look at this, the 5850 will outperform the 6870 i believe so that won't be an upgrade ! ! ! You really have to go for 560ti or 6950.
