Another "Netflix won't stay in fullscreen on extended display" thread

Hi there!

Heres another one of these threads to add to the big pile of these types of threads since there doesn't_seem_to_be_a_solution. Excuse the passive aggressiveness and I greatly appreciate any help that comes my way but every_solution available to this is revolving around "permissions" some people seem to have it, some people just have a blank permissions screen and end up giving up. I am DETERMINED to be a walrus.. err I mean I am DETERMINED to be able to run netflix in full screen on an extended secondary display.

I use firefox, please dont make me switch to chrome. plsplsplsplpslpslpspsplsplpslpslpls dont plssssss


After 25-30 minutes of trying to find a solution to this, I gave given up and am now seeking expert advice from the best around.

You want to fullscreen netflix using dual displays, meaning full screen video across two displays? Support for this functionality is going to involve alot of trial and error as most would not want to deal with bezels while enjoying video. Have you seen the best answer in this thread?

"I see that you asked this question a few months back. If you right click on a video "while" it is playing you will see stay in full screen at the bottom of the menu. However, you MUST do it *both* while a video is playing (such as netflix) and equally important, the video must NOT be in full screen mode when you do this. The option will not appear if you right click while the playing video is already in full screen.

As always, you can still press escape to exit full screen mode after you have selected this option.

No I mean when I have a secondary monitor (extend displays) and drag the netflix window to my other monitor (tv)
