another question

i have been thinking about something.
when you have razed another civ's city the "ashes and stuff" still remains
in your territory or wherever. now, is the only way to get rid of it to
plant forest and harvest it? cause it is the only way i have got rid of it..

Put a worker there and make him irrigate the spot.

Any kind of terrain work should clear the rubble.

I like building cities on the rubble... if you do, your city view shows
broken buildings and such, in addition to your regular buildings. =)

Build a road on the spot, or if it is improved, destroy the
improvement.
