Question another ram question

I bought and installed a 32gb 2x16 kit of ddr4 corsair vengeance rgb pro 3000 MHz c15 ram. is it ok to buy another kit of say 16gb 2x8 c15 with same exact timings, and add it to my existing kit? will it work properly?

It may or may not work. RAM is only guaranteed in the kits it is sold, even mixing 2 of the same kits can have issues. I don’t know what the probability is, usually it’s ok if the kits are the same but I have had 2 identical kits be unstable if mixed.

You've asked this question with specifics so it does seem you do know what could happen.

Won't know until you try. As said, it's best to buy as a kit.
