Hi all, I wonder if someone can help me. I've recently built my first pc and it's been running great until now but am now concerned over high CPU temperatures during games, specifically Call of Duty and Warzone.
I've been monitoring temperatures over the last few days and when playing this game, the CPU is running in the low 90s
Idle temperatures using Ryzen Master are in the low 30s, rising to 40+ when performing rudimentary tasks such as web browsing or watching YouTube.
I am using the stock cooler but only have 1 exhaust on the case which is a Cooler Master Q300L (which i realise doesn't have great thermals anyway but load temps seem excessive even for this case)
My motherboard is an MSI B450m Mortar and I haven't overclocked anything. I haven't tried reseating the cooler but it installed ok and is nice and tight. Is it quite easy to mess the installation up and not realise it?
My first thoughts are to buy some extra fans for the case but maybe the issue lies deeper than just some extra cooling. Ambient temps are in the low 20s so not really that warm.
Any advice would be appreciated.
