http://www.digitalstormonline.com/ode.asp LEVEL 4.. $2897.00 at stock price which is basically my budget at the moment. While I have not gone shopping for a computer in a relatively long time I'm wondering if this is a good bang for my buck, that or is there anything I should do with the components to maybe save money.

I guess the biggest difference in this one and the level 3 is the i7 4770k vs i7 4930k

But will it be worth it over the level 3? Or should I not even be looking at digital storm in the first place ? lol. Thoughts and or suggestions welcome.

Wow, that little in fps difference huh? That's pretty crazy how much more they want for it haha.

I am no computer expert so I'm a tad skeptical about buying components outright and trying to put the darn thing together. But got any suggestions on what would be "better" than that if I did go that route?

Look at my stats, my system cost me less, is way better and stronger than this.

It is also a fun little project on the side and would be a good learning opportunity for you. I would recommend to build your machine and ask for advice in the forums. You will be way happier this way.

For gaming, it makes very little difference in fps, but for lets say, rendering a whole movie, its a lot better, but there is no improvement over the 4930k in gaming and everyday computing stuff.

Yes, 100% agree, for something thats in the 2000$ range, you should not expect to get gtx 780... You should expect something like a r9 295x2 or 2 780ti in sli or r9 290x in crossfire. In my opinion, those computers are overpriced for what you get.
