Another Sims3 laptop spec question

I am looking at an i5 laptop with an Nvidia GeForec GT720M graphics card.
This looks ok to play a lot of other popular games. But will it run Sims 3 well?

A toaster could run sims 3.

On minimum, 800x600, of course.

The GT 720m should be good enough to play the Sims 3. While still considered a bit weak compared to other modern graphic chips, the Sims 3 came out back in 2009. The systems requirements for Sims 3 was modest even back in 2009.

Ok Ok thats pretty funny but toasters dont meet the minimum specs.
Sims 3 is a dog - I KNOW. its also incredibly fun for the right person.
BUT - this dog requires minimum specs for graphics cards and some of them out there just dont meet the need.
Of course the game isnt made for laptops - its made for the desk top and the specs and Im not certain how to compare the older specs of the sims 3 with newer architecture.
Maybe I'll have better luck asking a toaster?

From what I have read the Sims 3 becomes a dog after installing many expansions. I am not sure if any of the expansions increases the graphics requirements, but they do increase demand on the CPU.

I think some people have posted at after playing the game for some time the saved game increases in size especially after Generations and that it can take up to 20 minutes to load a game if not longer.

This is true, my saved games can take up to 15-25 minutes on my old Hp pavilion s3700y.
