Tomb Raider 2 - Throw Guns at Butler or Other People
1. Walk to an edge ( you must walk over 3 steps forward or it won't
work) where a person is under you. (an example is the level with the
swinging box.)
2. Focus on the person, by using the grenade gun. if you don't have that
gun, follow the "skip level" instructions, only backflip instead of jump
forward at the end.
3. Press ESC and select pistols.
4. Lara should aim with the pistols. then she SHOULD throw the grenade
gun down at the man exploding him and ever thing around him.
5. Lara will then laugh. After she laughs you will know your trick is
done.
6. *note* you can only do this once per game
7. *note* try this trick on a hole with spikes in it. it will send the
spikes flying in the air, so watch out, but it makes a virtually
non-dangerous hole. in one level there is a dragon (secret) in one of
the holes.

There must be another way of getting the secret you mention without doing
this trick though as I didn't know about the trick but have conpleted the
game with all secrets.

Well sure. I think it's one that you either walk into through a passage
or can drop into one side without getting impaled. I recall there being
a dragon in a spiked pit. Been a while though, and I never did complete
it getting ALL secrets. I always miss the very first one.

Been a good long while since I played TR2. Wasn't that the first
dragon/secret?

I recall the room from memory. I went through it at least a couple
dozen times trying to get that statue, figuring there was something I
missed. Not to mention the dozens of times I died in the room. 😉

Once you have transformed the pit with the switch in the high room
behind the dragon's head, you need to make your way back to "front" of
the room. I'll assume you've made it out of the room alive, and get to
the point.

You have to use the springboard that is on the opposite side of the room
from the statue. Its at the bottom of the slide on the left side (as
you face the dragon) and aligned with the platform you're trying to get to.

Slide down from the standing spot above the springboard. When you hit
the springboard simply hit forward. Not jump, not anything else, just
forward. You should land on the high wooden platform opposite the
statue. From there it is just a running jump (w/ grab?) even though it
doesn't look like you can make it at all.

Once you've picked up the statue, you want to do a running jump toward
the ramps so that you land as high up as possible. That way the
vertical distance is reduced so as not to kill Lara.

I'm gonna get that running and see just where it is then, the one i'm
talking about. You run thru this little alcove with alternating squares
of spikes and lava, and some walls block you stepping just
anywhere...but in jumping over one square, you see the dragon sitting
just to the left thru a space with no wall. It's the only time I've
seen it. Died more than a hunnerd times trying for that one!!!
