Another WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR BSOD Question..

My system was running as smooth as butter until I came home from work yesterday to find that it was on for some reason? I left it in sleep. I start using it and it crashes quickly with a fast BSOD.

I'm able to get back into windows, but within a minute or so, it crashes and gives me a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. I've found a lot about what this might mean online, but I wanted to know what everyone thinks in this scenario, considering I can indeed get into windows.. However, upon many of the restarts I have tried, it freezes on the blinking cursor.

I have tried resetting any overclocks manually and then finally clearing the CMOS.

I think I should try flashing the latest BIOS? But I just hear horror stories about systems bricking in the middle of this process. I don't think it's drivers.. and system restores won't work from any point seemingly.. CHKDSK turns up nothing. The system is only stable in Windows while in safe mode, during which I can't use the internet or check for any updates obviously.

Any thoughts would be hugely appreciated.

Ha, I appreciate that. I already tried that however.
