answering calls through headset

when i played console i had a bt headset in which i could answer the cell with my headset and talk but i have moved to pc and do not have a bt headset is the a program that i can use to make and take calls and talk through the headset?

Well, have you tried using Gtalk/GHangouts? You can also take advantage of Facebook's messenger and make calls off there provided the person you're calling is in your contact/friends list.

Perhaps if you could pass on your system's specs and the headset you're using, we could look for a viable solution.
