Antec Basiq bp500u and the GTX 260 Core 216

Put simply, will it work? The psu has a 70% effciency rating and two 12v rails both at 18 amps. I know to find real 12v rating its 500*.7/12 right? And it comes up to 29.1 amps, which still falls short of the 260 requirements. But still, i read that nvidia highly exagerates the minimum requirements. So will i be ok with these two? Or will my psu die in a firey explosion and take all my components with it? 😱

1 sata 7200rpm harddrive
1 IDE 5400rpm harddrive
ASUS P5QL Pro
2x2gb Gskill 1066 ram @ 1066 mhz (2.00v)
3 120mm fans (2 are low power, 1 is a 4 pin molex fan)
2 80mm fans (one on the cpu the other on the NB)
No cd/dvd drives

I have 2 GTX260's powered by a Corsair 650, so yes I think it should be adequate.

A corsair 650 is waaaaaay more powerful then an antec basiq 500w...

You should be fine as far as powering the 260 but IMO you are at the line... If you add anything else (power hungry) you will have to upgrade the PSU......
