Antec Cp-1000 1000w PSU power cable

I just bought an old Antec full tower used from a local parts place and it came with its signature 1000w psu (the Cp-1000). However, I don't have the power cable for it, but I do have the 16awg 300v cable that came with my 650w psu. Will that be enough?

those cables are interchangable. so you should have no problem using that cable from your old psu. i have a box of them and just grab one as i need them. never had an issue
