Hi guys

Antec one is cheaper. Is it good enough?

My system will be

i5 7500 which will be upgraded to i7 6700 or 7700 soon
16GB Ram
2080 Super
1 or 2 SSD's on top of HDD
just standard fans from Zalman case

Should I be getting 750W for this sytem or will 650 suffice? if its 750, which one should I get? Is Antec a good brand?

Solution
Generally your computer will only use what's required depending on load at the time but if you go for a 750 w and your pc uses 450 w while gaming heavily it will be more efficient at about 75 % load etc generally.
While doing light tasks like browsing the internet will use way less . My I5 8600k and 2070 super uses about 110 w on light tasks and 420 w while gaming at max usage . Always good to get a quality power supply since it will put less stress on other components inside the system as well .

Ps to know if a power supply is decent check warranty should be 5 years or more also the 12 v line should be able to supply the max voltage or close to it if it's way less it's a pretty poor PSU

Ideally, for any 2080 you should probably get a 850w power supply. But 750 should be enough.

What PSU models are you planning on getting? You need to be a bit more specific

Oh man. somebody heere told me 650 is enough. Now I am hearing 850

This
Antec EarthWatts EA750G Pro Modular 750W 80+ Gold PSU 0-761345-11621-3

or

Corsair RM750 750W 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular Power Supply

or if 650 is enough then this

Corsair CX Series CX650 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX PSU
