Antec led fans on/off switch for led

I just got in my Antec 900 case. I have also purchased a Red Tricool antec fan and two Antec TrueQuiet 120 to replace the factory Blue fans.

I want the fans to run normally, but want to splice in an external switch. So I can turn the LED's off at night when I don't want them on anymore.

I looked for a tutorial, but only found info on Cooler master fans. I have already purchased these fans before I realized they had fans on the market with this option already installed.

I can solder, and have all the necessary crimps and shrink sleeves to alter the wiring.

So what is the question? Fans are basically the same. There is a power lead to run the fan, a ground, a lead for the tach, and a lead for pwm if able. The led taps off the power lead and ground.

I peeled the sticker back a little bit, on the center of the fan. My question is all the LEDs are wired into the board. If I want to run them on a switch will I have disconnect all of them and run them on an independent circuit, pig tailing off the power and ground? - I am new here and have not figured out how to post an image but here is a link to the fan.

Hi, with the Tricool should be similar and with the TrueQuiet UFO not possible, but I confirm that with the PD guys in USA.
