THinking about getting this psu when i upgrade to run with a i5-2400 and radeon 6950.
Never heard much about the brand and was just looking for some extra information.

The Antec Neo Eco PSUs are made by Seasonic, which does not know how to make a bad PSU. That would be a good choice for your proposed setup. Keep in mind that it does not come with a power cord.

If you need a power cord, you can have one of the 400 or so laying around my house for the cost of shipping.

Jtt283 is right that Seasonic is the gold standard PSU maker. No company does it better.

The Antec Neo ECO 620C is identical to the Seasonic S12-II Bronze 620W (SS-620GB).

For a system running with a single Radeon HD 6950 graphics card a power supply with a combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 33 Amps or greater and with at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors is recommended.

There is even ample reserve capacity to handle any overclocking of the CPU and GPU that you may want to attempt.
