Antec Trupower low rpm fans

Hi

Just gone from an old 350w antec to the new 480W one.

The thing is its 'meant' to control temps by varying the fan speed. Also as it has a specific cable for the case fans I assume it varies these to.

Problem is there doesnt seem to be much variation (if at all) in fan speed with my case temps way up at 30C from 24C

Case is an antec 630 with 4 case fans.

Its way quieter now but I hate the heat....

I'm running the same PSU and I've never run into a problem with overheating, even while running intensive applications.

Personally, I try not to worry, within reason, unless I'm having problems.

Thats just what the antec website said.

I suppose it goes to show what a neurotic bunch we can be sometimes.

Anyway the silence of the new PSU and the thermal take silent boost HSF is golden.
