I have an EnGenius ENH210EXT (using for outdoor WiFi) and was given one L-com HG2415U-PRO omnidirectional antenna.

Knowing that the typical external antenna setup for the ENH210EXT is to use one dual polarity antenna, I wanted to see if connecting two L-com HG2415U-PRO antennas could be used as an alternative setup on the ENH210EXT.

With the use of two antennas, one would be placed in a vertical position, with the other being placed in a vertical position.

Thanks for any clarification that anyone can provide.

I don't think you will get much advantage to not running both in vertical position. most omni antenna are optimised to run in that configuration. The reason you want 2 antenna on this device is it is running 2x2 mimo and must have both antenna to get the overlapping signal correct. You will limit yourself to 150m if you do not have both antenna properly aligned. It gets extremely tricky to replace antenna now days when they are dependent on interference patterns between them to obtain the speeds.

Be very careful you will likely exceed the maximum transmit power allowed by the government since the engenius is very close to the limit already using 5db gain antenna unless you plan to use this is a point to point application but that...
