anthlon x4 860k or fx8530 for gaming and desing rendering

I have a great question, im not sure if i should buy anthlon or fx. i got a r9 290 and im thinking to get the best of games and desing software like photoshop, solidworks illustrator 3ds max etc.... pls hel
