I know you might instantly be thinking "you don't need anti-static equipment, just touch some bare metal" but hear me out. I have not built a pc before and still a teen so saving money isn't the funnest part of life so I want to take that extra precaution. I don't however want an anti-static wrist band as it might get in the way and I have to find somewhere to attach it to so I'm thinking... what about anti-static gloves? I found these on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00GC1KF8I/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?qid=1438454133&sr=8-8&pi=AC_SX110_SY165&keywords=anti+static+glove&dpPl=1&dpID=41JiPzSXYSL&ref=plSrch which are really cheap and I have no problem buying but I just want to check that these will in fact stop static electricity from zapping my components.

Thank you in advance.

Man! Talk about overkill. If you are that worried about ESD issues, put the wrist strap on your bare ankle and clip it to the case. Use an extension if necessary. But you are really over-thinking this. Install the PSU first, plug it in so the system is grounded, and touch some metal whenever you shuffle across the carpet.

If you use gloves, you won't be able to handle the small wiring.
