Anti-Vibration Rubber Screws For Fan + Rad

Hello,

This may seem silly to ask, but I wanted to know what type/length rubber screws I can use to mount my fans on a 34mm thick radiator. I've looked at some rubber screws and I just don't know if they are long enough to do the job, and the last thing I want is a rubber screw breaking off in my fan or radiator.

Any help is appreciated!!

personally i just use a rubber washer

and not sure you can get rubber screws for radiators

for case fans yes if they are open framed

as you need to be able to get the end of them to pull them through

cant do that with a radiator

Take you pick, I like the Rivet style myself they are easy to install. I have had no issues with them even after 5 years of constant Hot and cold cycles.

those will not work with a radiator

they are for open frame case fans

how would you attach the fan to the radiator with those?

That depends on the Rad, some attach just like Air coolers while others have Clips that the Fans mount to and others have those longer screws that flush mount.

yes but the links you gave?

those wont work on a radiator will they?

and thats what the op wants to do--ie fit the fans on a radiator

I gave examples of where to look, this is a better place to ask and It would have been nice to know the Manufacture of the Rad itself since the "How" varies between them. I have used rivets a few times including my own H75 after I lost two of the screws.

Thanks for your feedback. I am looking into both options now. I was worried that the rubber screws wouldn't be able to pull through the radiator, but I never thought of rubber washers. Sounds like a good idea tbh

What size washers should I use if I'm using a Corsair SP210 fan?

any size

as long as

the screw shank/body goes through the hole in the washer

and the screw head doesnt
