Ahh ya! maybe you might want to set-up Spybot properly.
I used it for over 6yrs and when configured properly scans were at least 30 - 45 min sometimes longer depending on the size and content of your hdd.
Super scans in 15min full scan for me at the moment 112gb on hdd.
Besides scan speed factor, what are the important factors
(like can detect others cannot detect, etc) that makes
spyware worthwhile to use?
If it can detect what others (MBAM and spybot) can detect
then it is almost the same as others and it doesn't really
matter if the user use superantispyware or not.
Hopefully I won't get jumped for saying this, but Microsoft's Windows Defender has done pretty well for me. I've used a bunch of others in the past, but MS has beat me in to submission since it loads it with Windows 7. It's been a while since I've used any other anti-spyware program. Anyway, the best one thing to use to prevent spyware is your brain. Avoid certain sites and don't run questionable programs/downloads/attachments. Anti-spyware applications should be your backup.
