What would be the best upgrade CPU for my Dell InSPIRON 1100 also any info on memory upgrade. Thanks!

There is no upgrade, it's a dinasaour.

You can upgrade cpu, as long ast it uses a 400FSB cpu, like a Celero 2.8Ghz or a 2.8Ghz P4 Northwood.

You will need to first upgrade the BIOS before you swap any cpu's.
