any alternatives to docstar netconnect?

Hello we are considering to buy a scanner machine that is approved by
the federal goverment to scan invoices and all kinds of legal
documents. Are there any other alternatives to Docstar, or is docstart
the only product of its kind to go paperless. Thanks.
