My friend got this and when we put it together the set up was a breeze. Everything was labeled and for some reason it was just pretty simple plugging everything in.

Im thinking about getting this also, but want to know if there is a cheaper alternative. This is my first build so I want simplicity + performance, also looking bad ass doesnt hurt either

Do you need two PCIe x16 slots (e.g. are you planning on crossfiring 2 video cards?) If not, you can get a single-slot 1156 board for the $50 range (bargain basement) to $80 or $90 (OK quality).

depends on how many graphics cards you are using & will use later...

that mobo i a solid one and i definitely recommend getting it... if you will state ur configuration we'll be able to help u better...
