[SOLVED] Any APP to Batch convert image mode? [GreyScale to RGB]

Hi, I need an app to convert +3000 greyscale mode images to RGB mode in order to apply my effects.
I tried Photoshop batch convert seems it can only convert from RGB to greyscale, greyscale to RGB won't work.
tried some other apps to add a bit of color to every image (not too much), mode turned from greyscale to Index color which still won't let me apply my layers, it has to be RGB.

Open a representative file, and record all your actions/steps as a script. Save this. It uses Python as the underlying language.

On the menu:
Image
Increase Color Depth
Select 8 or 16bit RGB


Then, you can apply that script to all open images at once.
