any backspace key wont work on my pc

On my laptops keyboard the backspace key doesn't work. I bought a new external keyboard and the backspace didn't work work. I plug that new external keyboard into a different PC and the backspace key works fine. How do i fix this? :/

It could be another program over riding the function.

Try doing a clean boot: https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows
make sure to only disable non windows services or win 10 may not work - its mentioned in the instructions above.

If backspace works in a clean boot, slowlu re add start up programs to find the program causing problem,

See if it does it in safe mode:
go to settings/update & security/recovery
under advanced startup, choose restart now button
this will restart PC in a blue menu
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up options
hit the restart button
choose a safe mode (it doesn't matter which) by using number associated with it.
Pc will restart and load safe mode

see if backspace works here. If it does, its likely a driver problem... if it doesn't, i will have to think about it.

What make/model laptop is it?

doesn't work in safe mode... acer aspire e5 551 it may be possibly a virus? also i didn't mean to down vote your answer

sounds like a hardware setting of some kind.

Try booting of a linux live USB and see if it has same problems. That will tell us if its windows or hardware
