Solution ubercake Apr 20, 2015 DP is no better than a DVI or HDMI cable at 1080p@60Hz. The image is digital so there is no difference in the display quality. If you ran a high-speed monitor (e.g. 144Hz), you would need the DP or a DVI-D.
