Question Any bluetooth mice that don’t require handshake or transponder?

Hello! I have a Dell laptop, Latitude 7490 in which Im using an external mouse with a transponder. When i first turn on the laptop i must also “press” one of the “click” buttons to get the mouse working. Are there bluetooth mice that dont require the transponder and are also “on” from the get go? I don’t have this issue on Macs as they must handshake during the startup/wake from sleep process. Thanks in advance!

The dongle might not be required if you have BT on the laptop.

As to the wake, I have both a Logitech and MS mouse that are just "on" from the getgo. As a matter of fact, the Logitech is a multi pair model which is on a Unifying receiver for one system and paired to BT on the other.

Most wireless mice will go to sleep and require some kind of action, be it clicking them or moving them, to wake them up. Otherwise once paired, they don't need any manual action to be used again if they go to sleep and wake up.
